Course Description
This is an asynchronous online course. You get to set the pace of your completion. The next weekly module will open for you once you have completed the previous module.
This course explores chemical dependency issues from a historical, cultural, and legal perspective. Current theories of substance use and addictive disorders are presented, as well as physiological effects and categorization of numerous addictive substances. An overview of treatment and prevention will also be included.

An easy week for this course. I got 9/10 for the syllabus quiz because I did it at 2am and the syllabus wasn’t working correctly on my phone for whatever reason and the teacher refused to change my grade. 😡
